Safety Program
Whether underground or overhead, high voltage electric power lines are a part of every home and neighborhood, and can present a dangerous risk for shock or electrocution if safety measures are not taken. Each year Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative presents safety programs for schools and various groups in the communities it serves, demonstrating some of the common risks associated with contacting electric lines, and what safety precautions should be taken.
