Billings Public Library Foundation received $1500.00 for the purchase of tee shirts for the 1000 Books before Kindergarten reading program. This program is a local initiative to increase early childhood literacy. Studies show that children who have early access to reading and are more likely to excel in the classroom. The Operation Round Up logo is featured on the tee shirts and each participant receives prizes and a tee shirt for graduating the program.
