Water Heater Rebate

I am presently receiving electric service from Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc., and request a rebate under Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative’s Electric Water Heater Program, Policy 17C. The following conditions and requirements are hereby agreed to by Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative (YVEC) and the above identified consumer:

1. YVEC Service: The water heater must be connected to a YVEC service.

2. Proper Installation: It is the consumer’s responsibility to have the water heater installed in compliance with the National Electrical Safety Codes by a qualified person and the consumer holds YVEC harmless from any and all liability arising from the installation and operation of the water
heater.

3. Minimum Capacity: The water heater shall have a minimum tank capacity of 40 gallons.

4. Proof of Purchase: The customer agrees to provide proof of purchase and the information requested on this form. Please include a copy of your receipt or plumbers invoice with this form.

5. Proof of Installation: The customer grants YVEC the right to enter into and upon the customer’s premises, when the customer is present, for the purpose of verifying the installation and use of the new electric water heater.

YVEC will rebate $150 for the purchase of a new electric water heater which has either been installed with a newly constructed residence or which has replaced a gas or propane water heater within an existing residence. When a new electric water heater has been purchased to replace an electric water heater in an existing residence, a $100 rebate will be given.

The rebate must be submitted within 90 days of purchase.
