Scholarships

Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative (YVEC) is committed to enhancing the quality of life in our community. One way to provide this is to offer scholarships.

Scholarships are funded from the cooperative’s General Fund and by the establishment of a Donated Capital Credit Fund. The applicant or the applicant’s parent/guardian must be receiving electric service from YVEC and be a member, and not be an employee or board member. The applicant must be a graduating high school senior or college student who will be enrolling in a full time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the upcoming fall term.

The Luck of the Draw Scholarships will be randomly selected at the Annual Membership Meeting on March 26, 2024. Student or parent / guardian must be present to win.
